The Anishinabe people migrated from the Atlantic Ocean to a place they were told food grew on water. This food, manoomin, is wild rice. Bad River wild rice, sold at Native Spirit Gifts & Gallery, is of an exceptional flavor and quality. The maple sugar is also gathered from a local sugar bush. You will also find tasty soup mixes, herbal teas, and botanicals at this gift store.

In addition to the novel, Hawk Dancer, by Brother Joshua Seidl, SSP, the shop has an outstanding collection of books that include the history of the Chequamegon Bay area, Native American crafts, children's stories, plants and medicines, nature and travel.
