What is a Parish Book Exhibit?
A display of Catholic books set up at your parish

Bro. Joshua & a book display      Catholic books and religious goods are increasingly difficult to find in local stores. ST PAULS publishing, an apostolate work of the Priest and Brothers of the Society of St. Paul fills that void by bringing faith based books, CDs, DVDs and religious goods to your parish on a weekend to sell after Masses. Our publications for sacrament preparation, lives of the saints, Scripture, faith study and more cover all ages and reading levels.

Establishing an Exhibit at Your Parish:

Contact us by phone, mail or email. Bro. Peter or Bro. Joshua will guide you through the steps. Preliminary steps are simple:
1. Book a weekend that works for your parish.
2. We can discuss the best location for the exhibit at your parish, such as a vestibule or hall.
3. Talk about materials that support your ministry and parish activities. Example might include special devotions, study groups or organizations and events that are popular at your parish.

Benefit to the Parish
10% of the Total Sales

In addition to the benefit of providing Catholic reading and religious goods, a weekend exhibit allows parishioners the opportunity to browse and examine books first hand before purchasing. We will also send your parish a check in the amount of 10% of the total sales. Parishes that promote the exhibit through pulpit announcements well in advance of the given weekend as well as through communiqués of other inter-parish organizations have had excellent returns.
I can also provide, upon request, posters and bulletin announcements. I have weather resistant outdoor lawn signs and vinyl banners.

Two by Two
Priests & Brothers

We come in teams of two priests and/or Brothers. Parish volunteers are not required, but can be very helpful so that we Paulines can mingle and assist parishioners with our media materials and answer questions. Volunteers can help calculate purchases, bagging or with the set up and tear down of an exhibit.

English & Spanish

We publish books here on Staten Island in English and we obtained over 1400 titles in Spanish from Society of St. Paul communities in Latin American countries and from Spain. The need for Spanish Catholic books is on the increase, so let us know if your parish would need us to include a substantial number of Spanish book titles and CDs.

Spreading the Word

As we assist your parish ministries with printed materials on the Good News, we will appreciate it if you put in a good word for us in your parish and among other pastors and religious educators about the work we do and the benefits to the parish.
